Electrical Engineer - Power Systems (Canadians Preferred)
We are a leading engineering firm in Al Buraymi, seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Power Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical design principles and experience working on power distribution projects. As the primary electrical engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the installation of power systems for various commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure safe and efficient power distribution systems
- Design and oversee the installation of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels
- Develop technical specifications for materials and equipment used in power systems
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into larger projects
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on power distribution projects
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month.
Location:
This is a full-time position located in Al Buraymi. Candidates who are Canadian nationals or have Canadian work experience are preferred.
