Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in the production process. Your duties will include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing regular maintenance and calibration, and ensuring all instruments are functioning correctly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and experience working with various types of instruments such as gauges, sensors, and controllers. Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and equipment according to specifications
- Perform regular maintenance on existing instruments
- Troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex problems
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in instrument technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and principles
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Akron (accommodation provided)
