Heavy Equipment Operator

We are hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team in Las Vegas. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. Your main duties will include safely and efficiently operating equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating heavy equipment and possess a valid heavy equipment operator license/certification. This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment on construction sites
- Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with other team members
- Read and interpret blueprints or instructions to determine work specifications
- Perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials as directed by the project manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation is preferred
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for working with heavy machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
