Librarian - Gujrat


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Librarian to join our team in Gujrat. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a library setting and possess strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, shelving, and organizing materials
- Assist library patrons with finding and checking out materials
- Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned items
- Provide reference services to patrons by helping them find relevant materials
- Create engaging displays and programs to promote library resources
- Oversee the use of library equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement library events and programs
- Stay up-to-date with new literature releases and trends in the library field
- Ensure the safety of all materials and the facility itself

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications commonly used in libraries
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Gujrat. Preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Gujrat or are willing to relocate.
