Typesetter - Part Time



We are currently seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Alta on a part-time basis. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images into a visually appealing layout for print or digital media.

Responsibilities:
- Receive written material and instructions from clients or editors
- Review text for accuracy and consistency
- Select appropriate fonts, type size, and layout for each project
- Manipulate images and graphics to fit with the content
- Use design software to create layouts and prepare files for printing or publishing
- Proofread final layouts to ensure accuracy and quality
- Make necessary revisions based on feedback from clients or editors

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This is an urgent job opportunity with flexible part-time hours. The salary for this position is $1300 per month. Accommodation is not provided, so applicants must be able to commute to Alta for work.
