Restaurant Manager - Remish, Malaysia
Our busy restaurant in Remish is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene
- Train and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional service and food quality
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our standards
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability while maintaining budgetary goals
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with the head chef on menu planning, specials, and promotions
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam language skills are a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proven track record in managing budgets, controlling costs, and increasing profitability
