Chef de Cuisine
As a Chef de Cuisine for our restaurant in Bayan, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality dishes that meet the expectations of our guests. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess strong leadership skills to manage our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards
- Ensure all ingredients used are fresh and of high quality
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain stock levels
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and quality in food preparation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to lead a team effectively, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
Qualifications:
- A degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Fluent in English (additional language skills are an asset)
- Must have authorization to work in Bayan
