We are a retail store seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Lom, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the accuracy of all sales transactions. This is a part-time position without experience required, and we offer accommodation for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
- Accept payments in various forms such as cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change to customers as needed
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer by counting money at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving complaints, and addressing any concerns promptly
- Keep the checkout area clean and well-stocked at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is an asset but not required
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with basic math skills
- Positive attitude with a customer-oriented mindset
