Gardener for English-Speaking Gardens in Utena, Lithuania


We are currently hiring a skilled Gardener to maintain and enhance the beauty of our English-speaking gardens in Utena, Lithuania. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as keeping the garden free from weeds and pests. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$, suitable for foreigners looking to work in Lithuania. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own visa and housing arrangements.

Responsibilities:
- Planting, watering, and fertilizing flowers, shrubs, and trees according to season
- Pruning and trimming plants to maintain their shape and health
- Weeding and removing any dead or damaged plants
- Identifying and treating plant diseases or pest infestations
- Maintaining garden equipment and tools in good working condition
- Keeping the garden tidy by raking leaves, sweeping paths, and removing debris
- Assisting with the design of new gardens or additions to existing ones

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different types of plants and their care requirements
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required for communication with our international clients

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time contract job with working hours typically from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. However, flexibility may be required during peak seasons or special events. The position does not include accommodation, so candidates must have their own visa allowing them to work in Lithuania.
