Claims Adjuster


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Claims Adjuster to join our team in Bungoma. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine the extent of liability and negotiate settlements with policyholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Candidates with experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of insurance policies and procedures are preferred. Responsibilities:
- Investigate insurance claims by gathering and reviewing relevant information
- Evaluate damages and determine coverage based on policy terms
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information
- Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders or their representatives
- Keep accurate records of claims, settlements, and associated costs
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in the insurance industry or similar role
- Knowledge of insurance policies, terminology, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
