Adjuster - Property Claims Specialist



We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Adjuster to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property insurance policies and be able to accurately assess and evaluate property damage claims.

Responsibilities:
-Review property damage claims and determine coverage eligibility
-Conduct thorough investigations, including site visits and interviews, to gather necessary information for claims assessment
-Analyze policy language and coverage limits to accurately determine payouts
-Communicate with policyholders, contractors, and other involved parties to gather information and negotiate settlements
-Prepare detailed reports outlining the extent of damages and recommended payouts
-Maintain accurate records of claim activities and updates in company database
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices for property claims adjusting

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
-Minimum 2 years of experience in property claims adjusting
-Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage limitations, and procedures for evaluating damages
-Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Able to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
-Familiarity with industry software such as Xactimate or Simsol is preferred

Salary:
1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Bungoma, Kenya (Open to all nationalities)
