Part-Time Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Bergen. As a part-time position, the ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work approximately 20-25 hours per week. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality menus, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining food safety standards. This is an urgent job opportunity with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that meet the needs of our customers
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure all food safety standards are met and maintained
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique menu items
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Salary:
This is a part-time position paying $1300 per month.
