Executive Chef - Abu Dhabi
As an Executive Chef in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food production. You will work closely with the management team to develop menus, manage inventory and budget, and maintain a high level of sanitation and hygiene standards. Your creativity and passion for food will be key in creating unique and delicious dishes to satisfy our customers' palates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, ordering, inventory control, and quality control.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menus that cater to different dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu planning.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (other languages are a plus).
- Proven track record in menu planning, inventory management, budgeting, cost control, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with different ingredients and flavors.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $1300 per month
