Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the organization's computer networks and systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and ensuring that our systems are secure, efficient, and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and services.
- Monitor network performance to ensure availability and identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
- Perform regular backups of data to ensure data integrity.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Maintain system security through firewalls, encryption, virus protection, and other security measures.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed.
- Develop technical documentation for system configurations.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, security concepts, firewall configuration, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam or Acronis.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
