Office Assistant (Part-Time)
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Faro. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Your main duties will include managing phone calls and correspondence, organizing and maintaining files, and assisting in daily office tasks.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. You should also possess strong communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and redirecting them when necessary
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files
- Assisting with data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet creation
- Performing general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Ordering office supplies as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
