Milling Machine Operator


We are a reputable manufacturing company located in Bungoma, seeking an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience operating milling machines and be familiar with various types of materials and cutting tools. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, setting up and operating the machine, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machine setup and operation requirements
- Set up milling machine by installing cutting tools, adjusting speeds and feeds, and securing workpiece
- Operate milling machine to cut, shape, or form metal or other materials according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects or issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance on milling machine as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of different types of materials and cutting tools used in milling operations
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Basic understanding of mathematics and ability to perform calculations related to machining processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects in finished products
- Must have own visa or work permit for Kenya
- Available for full-time work in Bungoma
