Chemical Engineer - Lusail, Qatar


We are hiring a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing processes and equipment for chemical manufacturing. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis to develop new chemical processes and improve existing ones
- Designing and testing equipment and systems for chemical production
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times
- Monitoring production processes to identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency
- Developing cost-effective solutions for chemical production
- Managing projects from conception to completion within given timelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical engineering or manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of chemistry principles and chemical reactions
- Knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD
- Experience with project management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: 1-year contract with possibility of extension

Language Requirement: Fluency in English is not required but preferred.

Note:
This is a contract position open only to Kenyan citizens who hold a valid biometric passport. English language proficiency is not required but preferred. This position does not include accommodation. The salary is competitive based on experience.
