As a Head Chef at our highly-rated restaurant in Gujrat, India, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You will be expected to showcase your culinary expertise by creating innovative and delicious dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus with a focus on local ingredients and seasonal offerings
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high quality standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and service
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with management to develop promotions and special menus for events or holidays
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine with the ability to create modern interpretations of traditional dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control techniques
- Food Safety certification is preferred
Compensation:
