Instrument Technician

We are currently hiring a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Bergen. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems in industrial settings. Your main duties will include troubleshooting equipment failures, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring that all instruments are functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of all instruments
- Perform routine calibration and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and solve complex instrument-related problems
- Stay updated with industry developments and new technologies related to instrumentation
- Follow all safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in instrumentation
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and find effective solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if necessary
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
