Instrument Technician



As an Instrument Technician in Bergen, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments and control systems. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and conducting inspections to ensure proper functionality. You will also be expected to calibrate instruments and maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
- Knowledge of electrical systems and controls
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair various instruments such as meters, gauges, transmitters, controllers, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment using diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubrication, cleaning, and replacing parts.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
