Entry-Level Crane Operator



As an Entry-Level Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects on construction sites. You will work closely with a team of experienced crane operators to learn the necessary skills and techniques to safely and efficiently operate cranes. This is a great opportunity for someone without prior experience in crane operation to gain valuable skills and start their career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the set up and maintenance of cranes before and after use
- Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure safe operation of cranes
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- No prior experience required
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Basic math skills for calculating loads, distances, and angles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced operators
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. Salary may increase based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Akron, Ohio. Applicants must be willing to relocate if not already living in the area.
