Contract Librarian in Lisbon, Portugal

We are hiring a Contract Librarian to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library collection and providing research assistance to our patrons. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$, without accommodation, and includes a free visa and ticket.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience as a Librarian preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Cataloging, organizing, and maintaining the library collection
- Assisting patrons with research inquiries and information requests
- Developing library programs and events to engage the community
- Managing circulation services, including checking out materials, collecting fines, etc.
- Collaborating with other librarians to evaluate and select new materials for the collection
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements in library services
