Restaurant Manager - Oslo, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Oslo, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations including staffing, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and providing exceptional service
- Train and develop team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold brand standards
- Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment according to health codes and regulations
- Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for menu updates or changes as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, inventory management, budgeting, and marketing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members towards common goals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and vendors
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Knowledge of health codes and regulations for food safety
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
OR
2+ years of experience in restaurant management
AND
Proven track record of success in managing a team
AND
Knowledge of Norwegian cuisine preferred

Salary: 1000$ per month with potential for bonuses based on performance

Location: Oslo, Norway
