Typesetter for a Publishing Company
As a Typesetter for our publishing company in Monte-Carlo, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality printed materials. Your main responsibility will be to format and arrange text and images using specialized software, ensuring that the final product is visually appealing and error-free. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong technical skills in typesetting and design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images for various print materials such as books, magazines, and brochures
- Ensure that text is aligned, sized, and spaced correctly according to design specifications
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy of content, spelling, and grammar
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project deadlines
- Troubleshoot any technical issues with typesetting software or file conversions
- Maintain consistency in style and formatting throughout multiple projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout design principles, and color theory
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly
- Time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- A portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work is preferred
