Chemical Engineer
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, a city known for its thriving chemical industry. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing chemical processes for our company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to develop new chemical products or improve existing ones.
- Design and implement processes in line with safety and environmental standards.
- Oversee the production process to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify potential hazards and provide solutions to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot any issues during production.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in chemical engineering technology.
- Monitor production data and optimize processes for maximum output.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chemical Engineer in the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations related to chemical production.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Experience working with hazardous materials or chemicals.
- Knowledge of process control systems such as DCS, PLC, etc.
