Truck Driver

We are in need of a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in Mombasa. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various routes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Plan and follow designated routes according to delivery schedule
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to traffic laws and follow safety procedures
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances
- Knowledge of road safety regulations
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Are African nationals or have experience working in Africa
- Speak English fluently
- Have previous experience driving trucks in temporary or contract positions
