Truck Driver

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Mombasa. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maneuvering commercial trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience in driving large trucks. This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods and materials from the truck
- Plan routes and navigate to various destinations
- Communicate with dispatchers to receive instructions and updates on delivery schedules
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Ability to operate large trucks in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with different types of cargo loading techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs

Salary: $1300 per month

Accommodation: Accommodation can be provided for out-of-town drivers.

Nationality: Indian candidates preferred but not required.

Experience: No prior experience required. Training will be provided for newly licensed drivers.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Other requirements: Must pass drug/alcohol screening before employment.
