Florist and Floral Designer

The florist and floral designer will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and corporate events. They will also be in charge of maintaining the shop's inventory, ordering supplies, and managing the budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of creativity and style, as well as knowledge of different types of flowers and their care. This position requires excellent customer service skills to assist clients in selecting the perfect arrangements for their special occasions. The florist must also be able to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month in the charming city of Fonvieille. Accommodation is provided for those who prefer to live on-site.

The Florist and Floral Designer will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Designing and arranging floral displays according to client preferences
- Maintaining inventory levels by ordering supplies as needed
- Managing budgets for floral arrangements
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Creating unique designs for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and corporate events
- Ensuring that all flowers are properly cared for to maintain their freshness and appearance
- Keeping up-to-date with current trends in the floral industry
- Working closely with other members of the team to ensure smooth operations
- Managing administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling appointments, and taking orders over the phone or in person

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a florist or floral designer is preferred but not required
- A strong sense of creativity and style when it comes to designing floral arrangements
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with clients in a friendly manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in basic math for budgeting and order taking
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
