Typesetter vacancy in Porto Portugal

Typesetter
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our publishing team in Porto, Portugal. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for print or digital publication. This role requires strong attention to detail, as well as proficiency in design and layout software such as Adobe InDesign.

Responsibilities:
- Receive written materials from authors or editors and format them for publication
- Arrange text, images, and graphics according to design specifications
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the document
- Make necessary adjustments to formatting, including line breaks and page breaks
- Check for spelling and grammatical errors
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors in formatting
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Salary: $1400/monthly (with accommodation)
Location: Porto, Portugal (preferred but not required)
