Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator

Location: Faro, Portugal (open to all nationalities)

Salary: $1600 per month



We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Faro, Portugal. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network and systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and implementing efficient and secure network systems
- Troubleshooting network issues and providing timely resolution
- Ensuring network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Monitoring network performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Managing system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate solutions
- Documenting network configurations, procedures, and policies for future reference
- Providing technical support to end-users as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with network infrastructure design and implementation
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Certifications in networking or systems administration (CCNA/CCNP/MCSA)
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
