Back-End Developer


The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled and passionate Back-End Developer with a strong technical background and a desire to continuously learn and improve. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable server-side applications. You will work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of the user interface with server-side logic. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot any issues that arise in production environments and continuously optimize application performance. This position is based in Utena, offering a salary of 1300$ per month.

As a Back-End Developer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing high-quality server-side applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Collaborating with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in production environments
- Performing regular code reviews to ensure quality and consistency in coding standards
- Continuously optimizing application performance through monitoring and tuning techniques
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills and processes
- Working closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality products

To qualify for this role, you must have:
- A degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g. MySQL) and web servers (e.g. Apache)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Preferred qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of front-end development languages and frameworks (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- Prior experience in a startup environment
