Executive Chef - Utena, Philippines
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Utena, Philippines. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and appealing menus that cater to local tastes and dietary requirements
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Oversee the food preparation process to ensure consistency and quality
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting
- Proficient in English (Filipino language skills are a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Creativity in menu planning and presentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local cuisine and ingredients is preferred
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
