Job Title: Teamlead for English Language Center in Sheduva, Kenya
We are in search of a driven and experienced Teamlead for our English Language Center in Sheduva, Kenya. As the Teamlead, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of teachers to ensure the successful operation of our center. You must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, as you will be working with students and staff from various backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of teachers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the English Language Center, ensuring that all classes run smoothly and efficiently
- Develop and implement educational programs and activities to enhance students' learning experience
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on their performance
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to promote the center and its services
- Handle any issues or concerns that arise from students or staff members in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English as a second language
- Previous leadership or management experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Salary: $1500 per month (plus accommodation)
