CAD Draftsman - Bungoma, Kenya

As a CAD Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in our company's engineering and design processes. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design software. Your attention to detail and knowledge of engineering principles will be essential in producing accurate and high-quality drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on project requirements
- Use computer-aided design software to produce 2D and 3D models
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to review and revise drawings
- Maintain drawing files and documentation for future reference
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, advancements, and best practices

Requirements:
- Minimum of an associate degree in drafting or related field
- Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail with excellent technical drawing skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on engineering projects in the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or Inventor

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bungoma, Kenya (candidates from other locations are welcome to apply)

Type: Full-time or part-time (flexible hours)
