Part-Time Glazier in Alta, Norway



Our glazing company is seeking a part-time Glazier to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products such as windows, mirrors, and doors. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair various types of glass products according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific openings
- Apply weather-sealing measures to ensure durability and energy efficiency
- Remove old or broken glass and dispose of it properly
- Work with a variety of tools including saws, drills, and cutting equipment
- Inspect work for quality control and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Glazier or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
- Knowledge of different types of glass materials, their properties, and best installation practices
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy glass objects and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills are an asset)
- Valid driver's license is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of 1300$ based on experience. In addition, we provide accommodations for our employees if needed.
