Librarian - Entry Level Job Description:
Our library in Lusail is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Librarian to join our team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the library field. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with library operations and supporting patrons in their use of the library's resources. This position does not require any previous experience and is open to both men and women.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the circulation of materials, including checking out and returning items
- Maintain the organization and appearance of shelves and collections
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting patrons with finding materials
- Assist with collection development by recommending new materials for purchase
- Support programming and events by helping with setup, promotion, and execution
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as shelving books, processing new materials, and data entry

Requirements:
- Canadian nationality preferred, but all nationalities welcome to apply
- No previous experience required
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with patrons from diverse backgrounds
- Comfortable using computer systems for data entry and research purposes
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1100 per month.
