Librarian (Lusail, Qatar)


We are in need of a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our library collection, assisting patrons with research requests, and promoting literacy and education within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials according to established systems
- Assist patrons with locating resources and providing reference services
- Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy, especially for children
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs
- Evaluate, select, and acquire new materials for the library collection
- Manage budget and purchasing of library supplies
- Supervise library assistants or volunteers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Proven experience working as a Librarian
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and online databases
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in English

Salary: 1600$ per month
