Heavy Equipment Operator

A construction company in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance on equipment, following safety procedures, and completing assigned tasks within project timelines.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Valid heavy equipment operator certification
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment according to project needs
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to project timelines and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
