Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in the city of Salalah. Your main role will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be working closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of the project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed within deadlines
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality materials and services are delivered on time
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress and address any issues or concerns
- Review plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses, progress reports, and any changes or updates
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Manage project team members including engineers, architects, contractors, etc.
- Identify potential risks or challenges and develop contingency plans as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from start to finish
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements related to construction projects in Salalah
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills preferred)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
