Entry Level Barista

As an Entry Level Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. You will be the face of our coffee shop, providing excellent customer service while ensuring a clean and organized workspace. This is an ideal position for students or individuals seeking an entry level position in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve all hot and cold beverages according to established standards
- Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and take their orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
- Ensure cleanliness of work area, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the day
- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food and beverages
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, resolving complaints, etc.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a smooth operation during busy periods
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (students welcome)
- No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

Salary: $1600 per month (full-time)

City: Nakuru (Egyptian nationals preferred)
