Entry-Level Turner

We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Turner to join our team in La-Condamine. As an Entry-Level Turner, you will work under the guidance of experienced Turners to learn and develop your skills in turning and shaping metal parts using lathes and other machinery.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to shape metal parts
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Make adjustments or repairs as needed to maintain the quality of the product
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience in turning or operating machinery preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of metalworking processes and tools
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Physical dexterity and strength to operate machinery for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, reliable, and have a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for metalworking to start their career in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: La-Condamine (own visa required)
