Job Title: Teamlead for Remote Expedition Team in Svalbard


Our adventure travel company is seeking a skilled and experienced Teamlead to join our team in Svalbard. As the Teamlead for our remote expedition team, you will be responsible for managing a group of 10-15 individuals on challenging and exciting expeditions in the Arctic wilderness. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team in one of the most remote and breathtaking locations on the planet.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute safe and successful expeditions, including managing logistics, equipment, and supplies
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of individuals with varying levels of experience
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members while on expeditions
- Provide guidance and support to team members during challenging situations
- Maintain communication with our home base and provide regular updates on expedition progress
- Conduct training sessions for new team members as needed
- Monitor budget and expenses related to expeditions

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience leading outdoor expeditions, preferably in remote locations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong knowledge of wilderness survival, first aid, navigation, and other essential skills for Arctic environments
- Physically fit with the ability to undertake strenuous activities in extreme weather conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be comfortable living in isolated conditions for extended periods of time

Salary: $1700 per month (with accommodation provided)

Location: Svalbard, Norway (candidates from any nationality are welcome)
