Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist
Location: Washington, USA
Salary: $1200/month with accommodation


As a Civil Engineer specializing in structural design, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various structures such as buildings, bridges, and roads. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet safety and building codes as well as conducting feasibility studies and providing cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of the project
- Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress and make recommendations for improvements or changes
- Ensure that all projects comply with local building codes and regulations
- Evaluate potential risks and hazards associated with the project and implement necessary safety measures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design within the construction industry
- Proficient in CAD software for creating designs and plans
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Requirements:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or government projects
- Ability to speak English fluently
- Experience working in a diverse team environment
