Accountant - Albena, Bulgaria


We are hiring a skilled Accountant to join our team in Albena, Bulgaria. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your duties will include but are not limited to preparing monthly and yearly financial reports, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and analyzing financial data.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. You should also have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential issues
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvements
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies or potential issues quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Bulgarian is a plus)

Salary:
Competitive salary starting at $1400 per month based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in beautiful Albena, Bulgaria. Relocation assistance is not provided. However, we offer flexible working hours for those who need to relocate.
