Land Surveyor Assistant


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Bungoma. As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will assist in conducting land surveys and collecting data to support various construction and development projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of land surveying.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys using various equipment, such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Collect and record accurate data related to land boundaries, topography, and existing structures
- Help prepare surveying reports and maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Perform calculations to determine property lines, elevation changes, and other measurements
- Assist in staking out reference points and markers for construction projects
- Follow all safety protocols while working on job sites
- Maintain and organize surveying equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in land surveying preferred
- Previous experience working as a land surveyor assistant is a plus but not required
- Proficiency with CAD software and other computer programs used in land surveying
- Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations accurately
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain types
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Physical stamina for carrying heavy equipment and walking long distances on job sites
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
$1600 per month

Location:
Bungoma, Kenya (Preference for Indian candidates)
