Barista - Coffee Shop (Alta, Norway)


Our cozy coffee shop in Alta, Norway is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a passion for all things coffee.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve various coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Ensure quality control by following proper brewing techniques
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at all times
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
- Restock inventory and keep track of supplies
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art skills are preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with tips.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
