Restaurant Manager (Braga, Portugal)
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in Braga, Portugal. You will ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team is motivated and efficient. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, budgeting, inventory, and customer service
- Train and develop team members to deliver high-quality service and maintain brand standards
- Create work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels while controlling labor costs
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction
- Oversee financial aspects of the restaurant, such as sales reports, inventory management, and cost control measures
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Biometric passport or eligibility to work in Portugal
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Salary: $1000 per month (with accommodation)
