We are a reputable construction company based in Almada seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for creating and repairing structures made of wood, including furniture, cabinets, and building frameworks. You will work closely with our team of skilled tradespeople to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to plan and execute carpentry tasks
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or other measuring instruments
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, doors, frameworks, flooring and siding
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using carpentry tools
- Strong knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1000$ per week for this position.
