Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main tasks will include using the equipment to move materials, leveling terrain, and performing routine maintenance and repairs. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid biometric passport
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment
- Fluency in English or Norwegian is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on all machinery
- Move materials using the equipment as directed by supervisors
- Level terrain for construction or landscaping projects
- Monitor operational functions and report any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently
