As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Los Angeles. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop plans that adhere to local regulations and standards. Your role will also involve conducting site visits, documenting existing conditions, creating architectural drawings and specifications, overseeing construction work, and ensuring that the project stays within budget and schedule. Additionally, you may be required to manage a team of architects, engineers, and contractors.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and historic preservation guidelines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document existing conditions
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Experience working with historical buildings in Los Angeles is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1700 per month but can vary depending on experience level.

Working hours:
This is a full-time position with typical working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday.
